Well, my Con of the North is done. I've finished my last game (a rousing game of Tammany Hall in which I came in last), I've packed up my car, and I've said goodbye to friends old and new. It was a great but tiring weekend. Now I'm just looking forward to going home to my family.

Next up - Tammany Hall
Tzolk'in was fantastic. I was second but still had a lot of fun.
Now we're going to play Tammany Hall, which I am waiting for from the Kickstarter campaign. It is a really fun political, area majority game with delightful backstabbing.
Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar
The next game is another one I really wanted to try out. The game's unique feature is a bunch of interlocking gears that all turn together moving your workers to more powerful spaces. They keep traveling around if you can wait for them to get to where you want them to go.
Sunday morning - Legacy: Gears of Time
I forgot to take a picture of the first game I played this morning, Legacy: Gears of Time. It was really fun. So fun in fact that I went straight into the dealer hall and bought the game straight from the designer. Great start to the day.
I lost Terra Mystica
It was fun, but I didn't do well. It is relatively complex and this was definitely a learning game for me. I didn't have a great pan and didn't concentrate on scoring points which is what wins you the game.

Terra Mystica
We just started a new game: Terra Mystica. It is a hot new game that sounds pretty cool. We're a bunch of mystical raves of people trying to terraform a world to suit ourselves.
Riff Raff
Now we're playing a fantastic children's dexterity game called Riff Raff. We're trying to place wooden pieces on a wobbling ship. It's very well made and actually pretty fun!
