Tomorrow is the big day!
Yesterday Boudreaux and I went on a walk/jog to the North Park. It was just over 3 miles all told. A nice last hurrah of training. Today was spent "resting" and learning. My dad and I went up to Lake Nokomis to get our race packets and listen to a course talk. One of the race organizers talked us through the entire course giving everyone tips and what to watch out for. Then my dad and I drove the bike route. It was actually very helpful to see where some of the sharper turns were going to be and it let my dad know that the roads were going to be rougher than he was expecting (he's on a nice road bike).
Tomorrow it all comes to a close. Will all of the push-ups and walks and so few swimming sessions be enough? I am definitely feeling nervous but still excited and looking forward to seeing how I do.
Until afterwards!
