Wondering what this post is about? I'm planning on doing a triathlon.
Today
was a relatively busy day but in between everything I managed to make
my way to the club for a swim. But before I hit the pool I went upstairs
to do some pull-ups. They have pull-up assist machines at the club and
I'd never really used them before. I did 3 with a very light assist and
then 3 more with a slighter greater assist. I'll call it 3.5 for the
tally below. (I just couldn't quite get 4 John!) Then I headed to the
pool.
Earlier in the day I had finally figured out that the 1/4
mile swim is just about 400m which equates to 16 lengths of the 25m pool
at the club. All of a sudden the distance didn't seem *so* daunting.
Sadly, I tend to lose track of laps when I'm swimming so I either did
250m (at a bare minimum) or I did 400m today. Probably somewhere in
between. Most was on my back, but I had a few good lengths of freestyle.
Overall I was in the pool maybe 20 minutes, but it was more swimming
than my 25 minutes from the other day.
Training Tally
